220 guests came from the Herne economy – and SolarBioproducts was in the middle

The first Herne economic reception was a complete success. Around 220 representatives from the Herne economy came together and eagerly listened to the ideas and plans of host Holger Stoye (head of the WFG) as well as those of Mayor Dr. Frank Dudda. Several challenges that are of current interest such as globality and digitization were discussed in a lively panel discussion among other topics. Also, climate change as well as the necessary energy revolution did not came too short – “Herne as a laboratory of change” (quote of Dr. Frank Dudda) – an excellent opportunity for SolarBioproducts Ruhr to present its innovative ideas and concepts via an information booth. Located in the heart of the Ruhr area, in the city of Herne, an independent research center of SolarBioproducts Ruhr is to be set up in the near future in order to be a pioneer in terms of sustainability on a local level.
